APPOMATTOX FILM PREMIERS AT 150th ANNIVERSARY
Aperture’s theatrical documentary premiered to thousands of people who attended an event at Appomattox Courthouse to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War.
Featuring gripping large scale re-enactments, dynamic educational 3D tactical map animations, beautiful motion graphics, and meticulous historical research – Appomattox: With Malice Towards None transports audiences to one of the most pivotal moments in American History – the surrender at Appomattox.
CINE GOLDEN EAGLE HONORS TWO APERTURE PRODUCTIONS

D-Day: Invasion At Normandy
This short film that is featured in a new exhibit at the National World War II Museum – dynamically showcases the strategy and “all or nothing” gamble of D-Day and is narrated by Tom Brokaw.
American Battle Monument Signature Film
The American Battle Monuments Commission, guardian of America’s overseas commemorative cemeteries and memorials, honors the service, achievements and sacrifice of US Armed Forces. To bring these hallowed grounds to life and create a powerful visual link, the film utilizes specialized techniques to connect the audience to the dramatic stories of sacrifice that are represented by each of the headstones in these military cemeteries.
NATIONAL WORLD WAR II MUSEUM – ROAD TO BERLIN A SUCCESS
The Aperture Team produced a wide variety of cutting-edge media productions for the National World War II Museum in New Orleans – for the new Courage of Campaigns building. This new exhibit utilizes seamless integration between exhibit design, lighting, set design, sound, and media to immerse the visitor in the epic story of World War II and the Allies race to Berlin to end the war.
