Aperture Films was honored to create a variety of media experiences for the new White House Visitor Center. The key media production is a state-of-the-art interactive about the White House – the goal was to provide a “virtual” experience for visitors. Due to the reality of security demands very few people will ever have access or the opportunity to take a White House tour. Aperture Films is very proud of this media project, and we believe it sets a new standard. The creative goals were very ambitious and included: high-end and complex gesture based interactivity, photo-realistic and 100% historically accurate modeling of the White House and Grounds (created in-house at Aperture Films), the ability to “future-proof” the show by programming and creating a content management system to add future presidents. Perhaps the most challenging was ensuring that this entire complex interactive would be 508 compliant. Our team crafted a variety of AV media pieces to showcase the incredible history and occupants of the White House.
